	Schools and Church Buildings
Schools and churches share common building concerns. Both are usually occupied to their maximum capacity and then vacated for days, weeks and months. As a result, the moisture content in many school and church buildings is difficult to manage. Many schools and churches experience diminished indoor air quality and condensation damage. There are no inexpensive fixes to normal building deterioration. As a result, most schools and churches experience some degree of deferred maintenance. Neglect, insufficient funds and equipment deterioration can render some facilities unusable or worse, encourage faculty complaints and worker compensation claims. We believe that an annual survey of school and church facilities can assist administrators prioritize critical areas of repair and foresee future maintenance requirements so that funding can be allocated more predictably.
